Hi! We just started tackling a new topic in math about word problems dividing fractions and I did well for most homeworks we got but the latest one my professor gave complex so I'd love if somebody would assist me to understand it! It’s a problem solving homework my algebra professor gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried solving it but still can’t get it right. I can’t finish it with ease unlike the other homeworks . I had an easy time solving my past assignments but this particular assignment with specific topic of converting fractions gives me a hard time just discovering how to begin. I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really appreciate if someone help me in discussing the steps and how to answer it in a organized and clear way.

I find these typical queries on almost every forum I visit. Please don’t misunderstand me. It’s just as we enter high school , things change in a flash. Studies become complex all of a sudden. As a result, students encounter trouble in doing their homework. word problems dividing fractions in itself is a quite complex subject. There is a program named as Algebrator which can assist you in this situation.

I found out a some software programs that are pertinent . I checked them out . The Algebrator seemed to be the most suited one for slope, angle-angle similarity and hyperbolas. It was also trouble-free to manage. It took me step by step towards the solution rather than merely giving the solution. That way I got to learn how to solve the problems too. By the time I was finished, I had learnt how to explain the problems. I found them valuable for Intermediate algebra, Intermediate algebra and Basic Math which aided me in my math classes. May be, this is just what you are looking for. Why not try this out?

Thanks for the detailed information , this sounds awesome. I wished for something just like Algebrator, because I don't want a program which only solves the exercise and gives the final result, I want something that can actually explain me how the exercise has to be solved. That way I can learn it and next time solve it on my own, not just copy the answers . Where can I find the software?

You can buy it from https://mathscitutor.com/solving-linear-inequalities-in-one-variable.html. I don’t think there are too many software requirements; you can just download and start using it.

I remember having often faced problems with subtracting exponents, cramer’s rule and radical equations. A really great piece of math program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem from workbook a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many math classes – Remedial Algebra, Pre Algebra and Pre Algebra. I greatly recommend the program.
