Holla guys and gals! Recently I hired a private tutor to help me with some topics in math . My problem areas included topics such as rules for doing alegbra fractions and powers. Now that instructor turned out to be so dumb , that instead of helping me now I’m even more confused than I earlier was . I still can’t solve problems on those topics. And the exam time is nearing. I need someone to help me out. Is there anything significant that can be done to get some sort of help? I have a good set of questions to help me learn these topics, but the problem is I just can’t solve them, no matter how much I try . Please help! |

What exactly don't you understand about rules for doing alegbra fractions? I recall having problem with the same thing in Intermediate algebra, so I might be able to give you some advice on how to handle such problems. However if you want help with math on a long term basis, then you should buy Algebrator, that's what I did in my Basic Math, and I have to say it's the greatest ! It's less expensive than a tutor and you can work with it anytime you want . It's very easy to use it , even if you never ever tried a similar software . I would advise you to buy it as soon as you can and forget about getting a algebra teacher. You won't regret it! |

It would really be great if you could tell us about a software that can provide both. If you could get us a resource that would give a step-by-step solution to our problem, it would really be great . Please let us know the reliable websites from where we can get the tool . |

It’s amazing that a program can do that. I didn’t expect something like that could help in algebra. I’m used to be tutored by a teacher but this really sounds cool. Do you have any links for this software ? |

I remember having often faced problems with radical expressions, binomials and decimals. A really great piece of math program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem from workbook a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many math classes – Algebra 2, College Algebra and Algebra 2. I greatly recommend the program. |
